My name is Sandra Glyngsdal, my home studio is in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. I have enjoyed drawing and painting all my life as a self taught artist. I trained to work with special needs students and worked in my community for several years. I have always enjoyed art and was a secret artist until recently when I decided to share it with the public. I like to work with pencils, ink, gouache and acrylic paints.
I want my artwork to impart happiness, calmness, relaxation and to make people think about everything and everyone that we share the Earth with. I desire to bring nature into the home to reconnect our modern lives with the beauty of this planet. Living in a place where nature and wildlife is readily available makes me want to share this with others. My artwork not only shows my enjoyment for creating artwork but my appreciation for the beautiful place we call home.
