City girl to country living

I grew up in the city where life is fast paced and concrete fills many spaces. When our boys were little we decided to buy a house. We were determined to save up and find a place of our own. We looked in areas that we were familiar with but the prices just seemed out of our reach. We heard about a little city about an hour away from where we lived. Our dream seemed like it was attainable. We bought a fixer-upper and my husband fixed it up so it became a home. We have since moved to another house in this same community but we have fallen in love with the slower pace and the wide open spaces. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains with lakes and rivers close by. We see nature’s beauty daily and are thankful to live here. This beauty influences some of my past artwork and future collections.
